Although it is not related to any pathological condition, hirsuties papillaris genitalis is occasionally mistaken for HPV warts

Pearly papules  known as hirsutoides papillomas as well are modified sebaceous glands, located around the crown of the penis and the inner surface of the foreskin of the male genital organ.

It is a physiological phenomenon with no malignant potential. Distribution is varied, from only two roughly defined rows (one upper and one lower) to seemingly random distributions. It is rare that manifest around the glans. There is a sexually transmitted disease and its appearance is related to that activity nor due to poor personal hygiene. The pearly papules  are very sensitive, which can eventually cause discomfort.

These papules persist throughout life, decreasing visibility with age.
